NORMAL haunted house decoration ideas for outside?
I’m looking for some creepy, but normal decoration ideas for halloween. Some people put silly, typical decorations outside of their houses. Talking cartoon skeletons, white ghosts, garbage bag spiders. They’re cute and festive, but they’re definitely not scary! I’m looking for normal haunted house ideas. For example, cobwebs in the corners outside the door, candles, fake dust sprinkled on the counters, antique looking things…etc. I’m looking for more ideas though. I love decorating my house in the legit haunted house style. I’m thinking of putting lit candles on the tables inside my window. You can see it from the road and it looks very creepy when the lights are out. I’m going to dust the table with flour or something else ‘dust-like’ to make it look old and creepy. I’m going to put our antique phones and candle holders on the desk just inside the front door and cover them with cobwebs. What else could I do that isn’t cartoony or animated, but creepy and haunted house ish?
all your ideas sound great! Very creepy. Try black cheesecloth to hang over anything that you want to cover up.. or white cheesecloth and you can dip it in a pot of tea to make it look antique. Hang it just inside your door so when you open it to shell out they can see the haunted effects.. To get more Ideas try watching scary movies such a Frankenstein! Good luck and Happy Haunting!
