Anyone who is good with antique furniture (desks)?
My boyfriend had gotten me this desk that looks antique. It has the leather top with the thin peg legs, and is solid wood. He had gotten it from his dad who had bought out an expired storage unit.
On the bottom it says “Thomasville Furniture Industries Inc. 1965″
My mother told me that Thomasville is expensive furniture. I was just wondering maybe what it is worth when new and is it even considered “antique”?
thomasville is a good brand but a 65 desk is not antique it is a good collectible item if it is in good condition. many people like leathertop desks it may be worth 350-500 dollars depending on condition good luck
