Planning to paint a small 1/2 bathroom,?
Bathroom has Just a toilet and Pedestal sink… Bottom has pine panel which has been clear varnished… Now I am thinking about painting it … I would like to give it a washed look , so that it looks a little antique and worn, How should I go about this ? Color I am planning to use is Courtland blue on the pine and Monterey white on the top gyprock and ceiling …
You have the perfect base for a glaze. Go buy some glaze, add some color (I would suggest a blue with some raw umber added)and brush on, wipe off as much as you want. Don’t make the glaze too heavy on color as this will give you the wash look. Good luck, maybe my website can help if you are not familiar with glazing.
